The Void of Lies by Kirby Roy III

In The Void of Lies
is a story about betrayal, deceit, and ultimately forgiveness as the main characters own up to the parts they play in their respective situations. There are lying politicians, cheating spouses, and unsuccessful cover-ups. Even though all of these elements were present, the story was a little slow and predictable, as I felt there weren’t enough plot twists and turns. Mr. Roy did, however, incorporate a few lessons, specifically:  You never know when your dirt will be uncovered, and admission along with forgiveness begins the healing process. I look forward to seeing if Mr. Roy’s future works have more depth in the storyline. – Sistah Connie
