The cover of this book lets the reader know that it's going to be controversial, almost like the show Hip-Hop Vs. America that airs on BET hosted by Toure and Jeff Johnson. However, the book doesn't really have a good foundation in the beginning to prepare you for what you are about to read. It just dives in and the author just simply talks about how BLACK MEN should be while giving his perspective on the way BLACK MEN should be treated, etc . . . . There were some great opinions on how BLACK WOMEN should be treated and how BLACK MEN should act, but there were so many contradictions, which makes it difficult for me to recommend the book to others. It's a quick read, but the format confused me.
