Often times in life we are faced with difficutl and challenging situations. While going through you may ask yourself the question, "Why is this happening to me?" Singing the Lord's Song in a Strange Land tells of many challenging situations Viterra R. Faison has been faced through her life's journey. Taking her down the road of experiencing a devastating divorce, to finding out her body has been strickened with lupus, and then suffering through major depression. Lupus began to take a toll on her body, leaving her in constant, severe pain until she was no longer able to live a normal everyday life. She had to rely on receiving assistance from family and friends.

After recouping from one of the many traumatic episodes of lupus, Viterra realized that she had a purpose and that God wants her to be a witness to tell His people to believe and trust in Him. She proclaims that the Lord has and still is taking care of her, and he can do the same for you.

I would recommend Singing the Lord's Song in a Strange Land to anyone who is a disbeliever in the saving, keeping, and healing power of God.
