The Ups And Downs Of Being Round by Monica Marie Jones was a slow-paced book, as well as quite redundant. The true meaning of the story was evident and revealed in regards to a young adult who struggled with weight throughout her life, and was able to experience the life of being overweight, as well as being “thin” and “accepted” by others. However, the book stressed being overweight so often that it became overwhelming and uninteresting.
