Written as fluid as fiction, Wilson has crafted a poignant account of her life that will grip the coldest of hearts. Be prepared to cry, get frustrated, and get pissed (there’s really no other way to put it!). After drowning in despair, Wilson saves us with a glimmer of hope, then triumph. With so many details about her childhood, I only regret that I was rushed through adulthood . . . A quick read and quite the emotional rollercoaster, I recommend Rewriting the Script to anyone searching for a highly charged literary discussion. - Sistah Tasha
